The conference opened with a dynamic agenda that addressed critical themes, including continuous learning, corporate governance maturity, courage-driven internal auditing, and the interplay between risk management and organizational culture.

Day Two: A Blend of Tradition and Innovation
The second day of the conference introduced several firsts, reflecting the event’s forward-thinking ethos. Among the highlights was the innovative podcast format titled “1:1 with Many”, where participants witnessed an exclusive discussion on human capital development, moderated by IIA Armenia President Ara Chalabyan. This session, designed as a collaborative exchange, will later be featured on his YouTube channel, “Parzic Parz.”
Another standout session was the presentation on the new International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Delivered by a distinguished member of the International Audit Standards Board, it provided timely insights into the evolving landscape of internal audit standards.
Additionally, a keynote session on emerging technology and AI captivated the audience. This session emphasized the critical role of proactive technology adoption in assurance functions, coupled with lessons learned from global practices.
The day concluded with a celebratory recognition of 50 years of excellence through the CIA certification, highlighting the profession’s legacy of setting the gold standard in internal auditing.
