Signing an MoU with UAE IAA
By the invitation of Chairman of UAE Internal Auditors Associations Mr. Abdulqader Obaid Ali, IIA Armenia President Ara Chalabyan and Vice President Angelina Mnatsakanyan attended The First Audit, Anti-Fraud & I.T. Congress organized by UAE Internal Auditors Association, which brought together IIA Global (represented by Chair of the Board Terry Grafenstine), ISACA (represented by Chief Global Strategy Officer Chris Dimitriadis) and ACFE (represented by President John D. Gill), many renowned speakers from around the world and participants from the region at large.
We are excited to announce that during the congress IIA Armenia has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAE IAA. This significant step strengthens our collaboration, paving the way for knowledge exchange, new opportunities for professional development, and the implementation of international best practices. Together, we will continue to support the growth and excellence of the internal audit profession.
We have also had discussions with ISACA and ACFE leaders to strengthen cooperation with IIA Armenia to bring in their knowledge and expertise to our Internal Audit and GRC community.
Other meaningful discussions with colleagues from UAE, Jordan, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and other countries of the region were held with the aim of strengthening the ties and cooperation.
