Meri Aslanyan-Amparjyan is a highly experienced legal expert in the banking sector, currently serving as the Head of the Corporate Legal Service at Ameriabank CJSC, In fact, she has joined the bank in 2012. In this capacity, she leads the unit responsible for delivering legal support to digital banking initiatives, contract drafting and review, internal regulatory compliance, and ongoing legislative monitoring. Her team plays a key role in ensuring the bank's alignment with legal developments and organizes internal training programs on critical regulatory updates.

With a career rooted in the financial industry, Meri previously held a legal position in another commercial bank, further solidifying her expertise in banking law. Her legal acumen is complemented by a strong academic foundation: she holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law from the French University in Armenia, where she has also been a lecturer in Civil Law and Contractual Law since 2007.

Meri has continuously advanced her professional and managerial qualifications. She recently earned an Executive MBA from the University of Sheffield in Armenia and holds a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualification. She has also completed a prestigious Certificate in Negotiation and Influence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is currently pursuing a Professional Law Certificate in Cryptocurrency from the London Business School of Business and Administration.

Beyond her legal and academic commitments, Meri is a regular speaker at local and international legal forums, including renowned events such as the Global Lawyers' Forum (GLA) and the World Lawyers' Forum (WLF), where she shares insights on legal trends, regulatory frameworks, and the evolving intersection of law and digitally evolving world.
