As a persuasive and tenacious leader, Dr. Ali has a proven record of driving positive business outcomes and leading transformative process improvements. In his current role as Vice-President of Governance, Compliance and Enterprise Agility at the Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA), he plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s strategic direction and ensuring robust governance frameworks.

Dr. Ali is also an experienced company director with extensive knowledge in strategic and digital transformation initiatives. He advises DEWA and its subsidiaries on a broad spectrum of managerial, governance, and compliance-related matters, contributing significantly to the organization’s continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

Dr. Ali is also the vice-chairman of the board of governors at the IAA UAE.
